    1) Robert Williams "Thrives on neglect" S30V with Micarta scales.
    2) One of Traveller's awesome wedges....9/8 and 170 years old.
    3) Frank Warner "Industrial" with D2 tool steel and titanium scales.

1: Should be done around May.
2: Might be in my hands today
    3: Sometime this month!

Yeah, I like the slightly unusual. I look forward to seeing how those less used steels do.

What else? A Bill Ellis, a TZ, and a Livi. That should do it for this year.

Due, you HAVE TO post pics of your razors when you get them. It is required!!!!!

Aside from whatever I see on the bay that really pulls my chain, if things ever get better I want to get one of those custom "snake" razors that the Mastro makes with some kind of fancy Damascus and maybe stag handles.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Oh, there will be pics! Waiting to hear back from Traveller on a tracking number so I know how far that bad boy is from me!

Just to be clear, as I realize my post was not...the Ellis, TZ, and Livi are "I plan on acquiring" not "I have on order." Though there are a few Livis over at SRD that are getting REALLY tempting.

    Default 2009 Acquisition

I might try to find a Shumate Austin, TX (pre-1904) razor to go with my Grandfather's Shumate Austin, TX strop. I faintly remember seeing an old rusty straight razor at my Grandfather's house. It had clear-ish yellow scales. It was not saved when he moved out to live with us and other relatives. Maybe it too was a Shumate. He was using a DE by then. It took him a long time to shave and it was like ceremony, not unlike we do with straight razors now. He died at age 101!
