right now i am all about the shavers not show pieces. in no way am i being snobby here, but i can't honestly afford a nice show piece but for some reason i can justify something i don't mind using. that being said, i really want to find a Wedge of a decent size that i can try. i am not fussy on who it is made by as long as they are reputable. again it will be a shaver not a looker so as long as everything is functioning properly and there is no significant pitting it will do. i have a W&B frameback (i think) and it is heavy and thicker and shaves great so i would really like to try a wedge.
sorry i know this isn't an exciting list since there is only one item and it isn't flashy or new, but if i listed all the flashy and new razors i want the list would be unbearably long winded

I just may have found my ideal razor ,size & type by accident.
Its a 4/8 half hollow & so far the shaves have been excellent. So my to do list this year is to trade all my blades for 4/8 half hollows.
Its going to be an interesting time.Paul

I thought about this thread from the start of the year, and thought about how I have fared so far.
Well, I've got my Greaves, and my Helje frameback is coming. Not bad.
I have changed my mind about getting a reaper, and am actually thinking about selling some ducks.
Sure I did not turn my back on some nice finds when they came along. I'd be ashamed to list them all, but I am sure I have sold way more than I have bought this year, so that is fine.
How about you guys?

I haven't found anything over 8/8, but I did pick up some new large razors. I've actually shuffled my rotation (in addition to allowing myself 14 instead of just 7) and in trying to keep the sizes and grinds diverse, I still find that I'm "missing" blades over 8/8.
Still no frameback that I really like yet, either. I can't find one with enough thumb clearance to really be able to use the heal.
No SatinWedge either. I know that one's a long shot, so I'm not holding my breath.

Thanked: 1903Anything Art Deco will do, as will the occasional eBay gem. Pearlking, Fromm Redhead, or a Michels Truedge, in excellent condition, will receive a warm welcome.
Just no Pumas. No way. Never. Honest.

My List:
NOS Revisor and New production Revisor so I can compare them.
Get new scales for my Le Grelot "Le Roi de Soliel"
New scales for my no name French frameback.
I have some others that also need handles/refurb.
