It doesn't have stag handles but what could be more appropriate for a Livi Snake than snakewood ? Here is the SRP photo and below that my photo with a regular sized razor for comparison.

My wish list is basically to get 7 diverse razors, then see if I can stick to 7 (ignoring the first one I bought). I'd like to have one from the UK, Germany, US and Sweden - but the most important thing is variety of size and grind.

Still haven't got any of the customs yet. Still dreaming.

I did get another Hawcroft, although it's going to take a ton of sanding to bring back to life. If anyone has one in good condition they'd like to sell, keep me in mind.

The Silverwing has fallen off my radar.

    Any Custom from these gents:
    Josh Earl
    Joe Chandler
    Robert Williams

    Other:
    Another 6/8 W. Hawcroft & Sons
    TI Silverwing

Well, I dream about many, and love many, but here is my real focus right now:

IF I am sadly disappointed tomorrow and the post office did indeed lose permanently my 8/8 wostenholm wedge with the diamond shaped tang then I am going to look for one of those, I really was in love with that.

A big greaves with the tang stamping between the two lines, heavy full wedge.

on chat a week or so back I was talking to butch and he said he'd be willing to do me a blade in the 9/8ish area with thick spine (after I get my 9/8 rodgers back I'm giong to seriously decide how I like the shave with it and if I wanted to go smaller or what. it's a full hollow but the spine is 5/16" thick). I think I'd like to try to work something out with him by end of year for a custom.

and never ever, definitely not a Livi.

    Red
    PS
and I'd like to find a frameback like the one Alex did, wostenholm I think in black and white g10. I loved the blade but it was too high an entry price for me for a razor I had no idea of how it would shave for me. but I'd like to find a good deal on a frameback like that and give it a shot.

    - a nice Kinfolks

I will probably not get any of the above, since I don't like using sniping software, but that's life.

Who knows what the occasional jaunt through an antique shop will bring!
I have never owned a Sta-Sharp - mainly because back when I purchased a bunch of razors from eBay Lynn always outbid me. I tried to get one many times. They have always been one of his favorites I believe.

I see what you are going to strop the tang with, but what about the blade?

Be sure you don't stab your biceps with the tang or the scales when you do ATG on your neck!

    But very cool.

Well, taking Ray's challenge to look back:

    1. got an MK31
    2. got a C-Mon HF
    3. no 8/8s plus chopper but I don't want one anymore - more into 11/16ths and the odd high quality big hollow grind, for example...........

    other stuff I got

    1. .........bahamakama - love this thing
    2. 2 mini me wedges (Helje 23 and Welmeister 42) wicked cheap
    3. Helje MK thing that looks like a frameback but isn't for wicked cheap
    4. Goldege for fitty bucks - a what the f*ck bid gone good

No Robert Williams till the recession ends. Hope he's still doing this then!

LOL, it doesn't take two hands to handle that whopper but damn near. It takes some getting used to but it is a helluva shaver.

Damn, Jimmy, that thing looks... EVIL.

Did the Mastro have to make a special box for it to fit in?

A lot of names come to mind for that snake (I'm sure you want to enter it in the SOTD this week of course):

    1. The "Jimmy Connors" - he was a snake and needed two hands to weild the racket

    2. or the "Chris Evert" - looks sweet, but a little nasty, and again required two hands.....

    3. The "Stabler" for Kenny the Snake Stabler.....
