Thanks for the illustration. While this fine razor is actually a spear point, it is very close to the dagger point which we all probably should be using for its fine ability to bring the shave to all of the face.

Gosh I feel so stupid now. I've been calling a spear point a dagger point my whole life!

I like the looks of the spanish point. Just personal preference. As far as the risk goes im not really that worried about cuts or nicks. Not that I would purposely do it. I guess im used to getting cut occasionally being a cook and using knives 8-16 hrs a day at times. So a little blood loss isnt that bad.
