Isn't a Gold dollar a Double Arrow? Not throwing off here, I have one, but I keep seeing Gold Dollars and I need a little clarification. Thanks

Thanked: 22I'm not really clear on this either. The two Chinese razors I bought off Ebay (both excellent,by the way) were sold as Double Arrows, but look exactly like the Gold Dollars that are currently showing up with Kenrup, Seraphim et al. Is this a simple case of misidentification?
Best Regards

Thanks goshawk.
KB, from what I understand, Gold Dollar is made by the same company that manufactures Double Arrow. I'm happy to report that it in fact shaves as good as it looks, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

Thanked: 735Gold Dollar razors
It is my opinion that Gold Dollar is the original manufacturer of the Double Arrow, and that Double Arrow is simply the name given to the GD by an intermediary export company (that I can no longer locate the website for...). that is why an astute SRP member was able to read the Chinese characters inside the Double Arrow scales that clearl;y said "Gold Dollar". And so here we are. I can tell you, that there is no discernable difference between GDs and DAs.
Here is a glimpse into the mysterious world of Gold Dollar manufacturing:
