I just printed the shipping label for the Kamisori and she will be in the mailbox tomorrow.

Sorry to have kept it so long but my uncle had some complications with his hip replacement and now that things have calmed down I have been working my way down my to do list.

I think you are really going to enjoy it!! I felt like I could address "problem areas" with ease (not having any scales getting in the way) and discovered I was able to achieve some pretty interesting angles.

If I could afford it I would be a total convert!!!! Thanks for the opportunity Nelson


I do highly recommend short soft frequent strokes. "Blade buffing" if you are a DE man and familiar with Mantic's videos.

I'm happy to report that the package arrived safely. Luckily, I let my beard go from Saturday til now (just had a weird feeling that I didn't want to shave)... Tonight, I get to play

Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful to get to try this kamisori out, I'm also a bit confused.

I'm going by the list bigspender posted on page 8 of this thread.

When I sent the razor out there was a distribution list that went with it which has apparently been misplaced so who ever has the razor now will have to contact me to get the mailing address of the next guy.

The razor is coming back to me for honing so after I get it back up to snuff it will go back to Richmondesi. Bassguy will get it after that and then back to the distribution list.

Is there any chance of this thing going out for another round? Cause I would LOVE to give a Kamisori a try, they look suh-weet.

Also, how do you strop this thing, is it like a western razor, but you only strop the hollowed side, or do you just strop both sides like a straight?
