Thanked: 96Seraphim, you should check out a gun show some time. I stopped going to them because quantity of nazi memoribilia stands > quantity gun stands.
A certain... section... of America has a hard on for nazi stuff. Swastika's and I'd imagine Hitlers (if people think they're original) vastly, VASTLY raises the value of pretty much anything. Original kar98k in good condition... worth a lot. Original kar98k with a bunch of swastika's stamped and carved on it? Worth a whole buttload more.

But simple K98 bayonets in original were without swastika. Razors/knives makers didn't mark their products by swastika. Only special daggers/knives were marked.

The Hitler straight could very well have been marketed during the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. Hitler, at that time, was admired the world over. And it very likely that there was much German merchandise marketed to the English-speaking vistors who attended the games.
