I'm not sure. But something not good with this razor. The blade and the handle from different makers. Blade was made by Dörner, handle was made by Weyersberg.
And the picture of Hitler looks modern.Alex Ts.

The razor is a fraud . The reason is that the words on the tang are in English . Why would a razor made for the German market have the tang stamped in English ? I don't think there would have been much of a market for straight razors with Hitler on the scales in English speaking countries during WW2 .

However, just BEFORE WWII, it would have gone over gangbusters.
Maybe it belonged to Henry Ford...

Although the whole thing does seem a bit fishy to me I don't think English words on the blade would be the ultimate proof that it is fake.
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe I read there was a time before the Nazi party was in power and before WW2 when the Nazi party was trying to gain favor they would hold conferences and such trying to build their numbers. I think I've read they even organized conferences and rallies here in America at the time.
Granted, the idea that a razor would have been made for an english speaking audience for this particular short time in history seems unlikely, yet if I am correct in what I have said above, the english would not entirely disprove the authenticity.
**Disclaimer**
No I am not a Nazi nor do I have any interest or much knowledge in the Nazi party (then or now). I just happen to remember very random things that I read.

You guys have made a good point , and I will stand corrected . I will admit it's possible , but not probable . However , I still think the razor is a fraud .

Maybe this was a "German American Bundt" razor, pre WW2, but I think it is just another Frankenstein.
