Thread: Dubl Duck...Did I do the right thing?

As Glen mis-stated,,,,,the scales have been shortened and they do fit the blade. Also, while it doesn't compare in value to a full sized Goldedge with Goldedge factory scales, it does have some value in that the blade is dubl duck and therefore has more value than any shortened razor, of lesser reputation and there are a few of them around. Kinda like the dubl duck Dwarf and the Torrey little Gem, but a little shorter. In that respect it does have a purpose and value.

However, if this is your first razor, it isn't a good razor for you. If you had asked me thru the auction "Ask The Seller A Question" option, I would have steered you away from it. At the start of this post my thinking was to offer you a refund, but in thinking about it I am sure the best thing is to just give you a refund and this will work especially well since I haven't mailed it to you yet and wouldn't have until tuesday, (monday is a postal holiday) so I will send you a copy of this post, off post, and hope to hear from you. It sounds like you are having buyer's remorse and that is due to your inexperience. That comes with great acceptance and understanding on my part because we have all been there. In the meantime I will issue you a refund for the full amount you paid and hope to hear from you with a confirmation of this. While I am a member here, I don't post very often, but I do get feedback of all the very nice things that are said about my razors, the quaity of them and the nice remarks about my honesty and character. The beginning of these threads is an example of those remarks and I feel humbled with much gratitude for them and the people concerned.

I did feel the need to respond here, as well as directly to you, in view of Glen's post in relation to this particular subject, and others he has posted regrading myself and my restorations.
