If you can accurately reproduce that shape, yes, if not, go for something simle (Man I'm getting good at pointing out the obvious...)

Make sure you take pictures while you work, I'd be curious to see your method for inlay transfers

    cheers,
    Jeremy

Oh, I wouldn't even attempt to do it. I'd approach a guru on this forum to commission it!

    Attaboy.

Well, I hope this is helpful: I really like Brad (Undream) 's work with Horn, so if you choose to go that route, he's a great guy to work with, and his scales are very nice indeed.

    Best regards,
    Jeremy

Personally, I would get Max or Glen to match the originals and transfer the inlay to whatever color your prefer.

While I haven't had anything done by Glen, I will say that Max's scales are also phenomenal, and the one I had him do was also an inlay transfer, and it looks absolutely perfect.

Really, you can't go wrong with any of em

I'd definately want to save the Solingen logo if it were possible. If its an inlay its finished, but I have a feeling it may be ultra thin and 'sit' on the scales rather than be countersunk. Not easy to remove I bet!

The Zeepk thing? Ive got a few Sheffields that refer to 'Celebrated.' Im sure you seen it somewhere.

The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor, (then underneath) 'For barber's use only.'

The Zeepk thing is a joke at Zeepks expense, as letter opening is their only use.
Yes, the Revisor is mine. I can't say enough about Brad's work. The photo doesn't do it justice. I'll try to post some better ones when I get the chance to take them. Brad tells me I can probably remove the logo with acetone (nail polish remover), an X-acto knife and patience. I haven't tried it yet. If I'm successful, I may post the process for the benefit of those who might want to try it as well.

Honestly! With a mean looking razor like that, who care what color the scales are.

Gotta say- I don't see what the problem is with the pink scales. I've been planning on doing a razor in pink scales for a while actually. I think it would be great to have such a manly razor with pink scales. I've used pink as a wedge and it really worked well.
