I have had good success taking the warp out of Wonderedge and other scales with a hair dryer. Put something between the scales to prevent them from warping inward like a wedge of wood, heat with a hair dryer slowly, then cool slowly by moving the hair dryer further away and then switch off the heat. Good luck. Pictured below is the Wonderedge I speak of. Sorry,I don'r have before pics but the scales bulged out between the 's' and the 3rd pin.

Thanked: 19compilation of former lists
Hello all,
I couldn't help but compile the former messages altogether into one big list.
Notes:
- I took all lists up to post #32 included
- I took only the brands with counts over one
- When possible, I wrote "Name, Initials", to make it easier to find items in the list.
- I did two identical lists, but with alphabetical or numerical (?) order.
I also created quick location, source summary as I could...
Please help me:
- add/complete the "summary" list,
- expand the acronyms (e.g. "S. S. A.", and so on"),
- correct it, especially in order to get the full names right, since I'm new and I don't know if sometimes it is mis-spelled or if it is a new (slightly different) brand (e.g. "Worcester" and "Worchester", and so on...)
Also, please feel free to edit this one by adding you inventory, rather than posting just yours...
Cheers
Christophe.

Beau Brummel was originally just another German manufacturer and later on they established an arrangement with DD whereby DD became sole distributors for their razors in the U.S. The razors made after the arrangement are a little different. The ones I've seen have the DD address in Jamaica, N.Y on them and you'll notice some are marked Beau Brummel Werk and some are marked Bau Brummel Razor co. The ones marked Werk are before the arrangement. Also the DD ones have cracked ice scales the ones before don't or at least I've never seen the DD ones without the cracked ice type.
Who knows, maybe Beau Brummel was the mysterious maker of razors for DD. Either way they are premium pieces. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 104Just found this thread today. I feel so happy that so many folks have a way worse razor problem than I. I might have over 70 total, but some of these totals are amazing. And seeing that this thread is old, those guys have probably added to the totals!
