When I was younger, I would always stop at the local barber on the way to the racetrack every Saturday morning. I'd get a trim, and since I was a regular customer, Joe would always give me a shave to clean up around my beard. He used an old Puma. Not knowing a thing about razors at the time, I just remember the name. It was nothing ornate. It just had simple black scales with the Puma inlay. He gave a fantastic shave.
Joe and his shop are long gone, but certainly not forgotten. So I've always said that whenever an old Puma finds me, I'd pick it up for myself for my Saturday morning shave, in honor of Joe.

Thanked: 22I think if I had a choice I would really like to have one of those Thiers-Issard's...the big[ger] sucker that went for about $450. Really wish i could've came up with it but instead bought a Hart - which I'm equally happy with.

Haha maxi you are right.
I've used plenty of razors but the le grelots are the ones I like the best.
I'm at 4 right now but I'm done my shopping for now. I have a good rotation and don't need anything else.
