I handled one of those big TIs at a meetup last year, and that cured me of the hankering. The scales took up too much space in my grip and the thing just wasn't comfortable. My hands aren't huge, men's large for gloves, and I'm pretty dextrous. I suppose I could customize the scales for myself, but would be reluctant to after plunking down that much $$. I'm glad I had the chance to try one out before the craving got the be$t of me.

My dream is to have straight razor that will shave me with one pass and nothing more.

You mean BBS with one pass?

I actually contacted the member on here who owns my dream razor and much to my dismay, he said there is no way he would sell it. I was distraught, alas I continue my quest to find one, although slim chance I will.

I have one that does in one pass takes all my others two passes, but it seems I must pay it in blood each time.

    Yes,

shave with one pass. I come down to two passes with my MACK razor. Outstanding razor. Looking into one pass shave but not achieved yet:-) What razor was that? Maybe I have what you need?

Sorry I don`t have this one any more. I sold it and it was sold for much less. I think Hopper from SRP has two of them.
