Dream razor? My dream razor is not going to be some razor I like the looks of, or that others find to be desirable to collect.
My dream razor is a blade that takes and holds an excellent edge, and gives me a nice, close shave without much fuss. Currently, it's an A. Witte, 4/8 straight. Enough steel to it to have a little weight, and my, what an edge it has!
Second best to me are only my pair of Torrey "Artists". A slight smile, good heft, and excellent quality steel that takes and holds a fine, fine edge. The others, I have no use for until sich time that I am able to hone and use them, and be "sold" on them.
Gnome sayin'?

This thread is killing me. Too many pictures, too many razors I would love to have!
However, here are the razors of my dreams: Wade & Butcher The Celebrated 8/8 Hollow Ground, Barber's Notch for Barber's Use and Mastro Livi, any model will do. No pictures, just dreams. :-)
