Thanked: 13245Right Now you have with myself 3 Senior Mods in on this thread .. (Group Buys have to have a Mod involved/sponser)
As soon as we get closer Jimmy, Nelson, and I, will talk and I am sure between the three of us we can figure it out
I would like to get Lynn's opinion on whether Dovo would be interested, but this really depends on how close we want to get to Michael's design for the Logo

I recognized you were on the thread, but I wasn't sure if the contact of Hart had been prearranged. I just didn't want to see anyone get themselves in trouble be getting overly anxious. We all get very excited by our shared hobby, but I also recognize that the rules are there to keep us all straight, that's all...

Thanked: 13245No probs, We do appreciate your post and Dfriedl's heads up also to the Mod team
I think it really is going to come down to the design that we go with, to which direction things head, so perhaps we should get a poll up
If you guys can map out the different thoughts, one of us Mods can add the poll
some thing like
1. full custom just like the logo
2. semi custom, with as many features of the logo
3. production, just get me a razor with SRP on there
please feel free to flesh that out

Just curious as to how many SRP Thiers-Issard's and Livi's we're produced for the previous buys? Can't find any reference via the search.

Thanked: 33I'm in, but only if it is <$300. I am not in any position to spend more as SWMBO might amputate my left arm if I do! And with new baby and putting in a new A/C unit things are kinda tight, I still have a little play money but anything over 3 Ben Franklins is taboo and even $300 will decimate my flexible money! So for me probably a production razor... Maybe #2 if we can get it under the mark!

At sixgun's request a Poll has been started here with some parameters. It is a public poll so that you are 'putting your money where your mouth is'. If there is enough 'action' this may actually happen. So cast your vote, multiple choice is allowed to better gauge who would prefer what.

Thanked: 1936I've got #113 of the TI run.
I believe part of the poll should be max $ someone would be willing to spend in $50 increments. This would help to answer the questions on custom, semi custom & so on as the amount would dictate how "fancy" a razor would end up. A full on custom like the logo would take more time to produce, thus be more expensive. The big companies may only be interested in using their blanks only. Lots of variables here, but I have a feeling participation would be dictated by cost.

FYI, there is new one available at ruprazor.com, a 6/8, olive wood scales, made by TI, and reasonably priced. It looks like the one in the pic posted earlier in this thread.
