Beautiful job ..... BUT .... IF this finally comes to pass I'm hoping we go 6/8 for ease of shaving, stropping and honing ..... and especially to keep the $ cost lower. Those big blades are cool but they always are more $$$. BTW, to me the one in the logo looks like a 6/8 . YMMV.

Thanked: 2027Granted larger vintage blades are more costly, but the production of a new large blade,7/8-8/8 would not be quantum leaps in cost over a 6/8.
Give me the exact replica in black scales, large blade, and I am in.

Every one is always in until the price comes out... It think it would cost to much for a commercial vender to di it.. A production razor would be the regular price, and then pay more for the logo..i think it would be better for Charlie lewis to design one with the logo.. Then you would know you are getting quality and an SRP symbol.

Due to the economy and job situation I am unable to take part in this group buy but I think it would be very interesting to have several vendors build as SRP razor. One vendor would design the blade and make the blanks, another would heat threat and grind and a final vendor would scale the blades and finish the work. I know that this comes with inherent problems but if managed properly I think that this may be able to get exposure to a lot of vendors and give this buy a truly unique razor in the end.

I'm hoping there is enough action in the poll to get the thing going and that Hart makes a duplicate of the logo razor with the smiling spine/edge and notch point. Acrylic scales in that color with the inlay. Maybe SRP etched on the belly of the mark side of the blade. A 6/8 would be my choice in blade size. I've been tempted to buy one of their blades but their plain vanilla blade profiles just haven't turned me on enough to take the plunge. If they did the logo razor I'd find a way to get the $.
