This would help to answer the questions on custom, semi custom & so on as the amount would dictate how "fancy" a razor would end up. A full on custom like the logo would take more time to produce, thus be more expensive. The big companies may only be interested in using their blanks only. Lots of variables here, but I have a feeling participation would be dictated by cost.

There are only 10 questions allowed in the poll. I figured hundred dollar increments would be close enough. This is a longshot at best IMHO. Takes a lot of $ to get something like this going and the sponsor will have to front the money. Unless there is enough interest for members to pay in advance ..... and there are a lot of takers . We'll see.

Advance payment would have to be mandatory. I've seen too many situations (not just razors) where it wasn't and months later when the product is ready people's financial situation has changed and someone is left holding the bag. Also forget about highly customized pieces. The job would fall to a very small outfit or custom maker and the price would be very high and few would be interested.

I apologize for the English. It seems to me that in this subject there is a conversation on the razor which is drawn on a forum logo. So why to think out new design??????? It is thought already up.

Your English is fine. From what I am reading this thread is just a discussion as to the possibility of a group buy and no decisions have been made to proceed with a buy yet. When and if this becomes a group buy the SRP staff will select a person to organize the buy. I am reading that at least one person has already contacted a vendor to manufacture the razor. SRP has not approved of anyone contacting any vendor as far as I know. This can only proceed w/ SRP's approval so please relax and let this group buy mature before the person(s) coordinating this, or any group buy contacts any vendors. It is not fair to the vendors to put the cart before the horse. The results may be less than stellar.

All those who are interested in seeing this come to fruition should vote in the poll in this thread here . SRP owners will find the best value for money based on the information they get out of the poll. That is assuming that there is enough interest shown, by the poll, to make it a viable enterprise. Let's just do the poll, keep our fingers crossed and wait for more info from the SRP staff one way or the other.

If I break whose that copyright I apologize. But I won't wait month. For myself the razor I will make soon. I try to make an exact copy.
