    Default First "touch-up"

After shaving with the SRP logo razor almost exclusively for about 6 weeks, it was time for a touch-up.

I don't know if Robert initially used a double-bevel method of finishing the edge, but he did say that he
taped the spine, so I did the same.

I gave the edge about a dozen light, rolling-X passes on a Naniwa 12K super stone, cleaned the blade with
isopropyl alcohol, stropped 40 linen/70 roo hide, and shaved.

That routine fully restored the original sharpness and the shave was incredibly smooth.

During the next month or so, if another touch-up is needed, I want to try a few strokes on a felt strop
with either diamond or CrOX spray, and see how that goes.

I'm really impressed with this razor. Well done, Robert! Thank you!

I just spoke with Mr. Williams on the phone. What a really nice guy. My razor is in the batch that he is making right now. I have it paid for so there will not be any delay in getting it when he is done. It feels like christmas. I'm really looking forward to getting my first custom razor. The pics for them sure do look nice. He even sent me a pic of a custom razor that he is doing for another client. He said he was thinking about posting pics of it on here. I hope he does. It's a knock out!!

I know that feeling. I wonder who got the last one, and what was the date they ordered?

Hi, guys. I'm working on 63 through 69 right now. Figure about 4 razors a week, so I'll be in the hundred range in about 10 weeks at the current pace.

Don't worry about us. Patience is a virtue. I will wait as long as it takes. Can't rush perfection.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

All I can add is the wait is well worth it. Beautiful razor!!! I couldn't believe how well it was made and how easy it is to use.

    Question

Is it too late to order?

I don't think it is too late. Send the order PM to papabull and see what he says.
