That is some neat advertising! Interesting about the "curve" claims. True, IMHO!

Lots of good steel came from Mass. I cannot find any info. Perhaps Martin can?

Did someone say Genco? I forgot I had some...

They're both from my 'to be restored' pile. The one in the hodgepodge horn scales with the third pin (and 4th pin hole) came to me in busted C-Mon scales. The ones it's in are the only spare scales I had that it kind of fit. It's a hair shy of 7/8. Righteous spike on that baby, too! It hadn't ever been honed when I got it.

I'd just completely forgotten about them. They got mentally lumped in with the Peter J. Michels and the Shapleigh and all those other American brands manufactured in Germany.

Did I ever mention that I have a lot of razors?

Any idea what the original scales on the Genco 'Master Barber' razor were? When I do fully restore it, I'd kinda like to put it back in the right clothes... Got a feeling the Geneva Cutlery one has been rescaled too.
