A 7/ 8", french point ,full hollow razor , hakapela damascus pattern, scales are abalone or blue buckeye burl. But if I were in the shop of Mastro , Everything would be more and more clear for me. Frends please help me to choose the scales. Which one is more suitable for hakapela pattern, a abalone scale or blue buckeye burl scale. And the good thing about this postponing is I will have another razor in September visit,
I am very glad to read you are planning a trip to Italy, not only I wish you will enjoy our country, art, history and - yes - wine and food, I am also glad to read you will visit Mastro Livi as well.
As for your razor, I think you are making a very good choice! Good size and point, not to mention the grinding - Mastro Livi is a master in making full and extra hollow razors by hand - including the beautiful hakapella pattern, although, as far as I know, this particular pattern is not used by Mastro Livi for straight razors of that size as the bar is not thick enough to provide a proper geometry for a 7/8. The best thing is, of course, to ask Mastro Livi and see what he says.
Both abalone and blue buckeye burl would make an excellent match to your razor. When I had to choose scales for my very first Mastro Livi razor - made from Damasteel bluetongue pattern - it was quite natural to choose that beautiful blue buckeye burl!

I ordered a Kamisori with stainless steel design hacapella and I did enter two small handles mammoth. When will 'ready, we'll show'. It 's the first Kamisori and hope not to get too many cuts! Since 'I saw the steel hacapella (it has a beautiful design!) If I had to choose a cut-throat razor, I would mount a handle abalone, I would not doubt. Alternatively I would use the root bukaye in natural color. I also like Razorguy own a razor steel damasteel with the handle in bukaye blue and it is beautiful, but the décor hacapella the tone 'of the natural wood is very fine. This is my opinion, of course.

Great! If you need help with the language, I will be glad to help you! I am sure you will enjoy every single moment of the experience. Watching Mastro Livi making your own razor is priceless.

I wonder whether I saw your razor at Mastro's workshop. He was making some when I went there for my razor.

What are the specifications of your razor? There were so many, as usual!
