Thanked: 96Razor guy, Sorry for my ignorance, but what makes the razor so rare? When I looked at it there didn't seem to be anything special other then being made by the MAN. Shows what I know. I am sure many of the participants on this thread would also like to know. Seems like Mastro Livi has a cult following based on all the comments and razors shown.

Special in many ways and for many reasons. Mastro Livi has rarely used RWL34 for round pointed razors and with a design like that. Moreover, it is such a long time he is not using poplar wood for scales and, as far as I can tell, there are not so many around.
I will certainly be very curious to see pictures of your Mastro Livi razor and I sincerely hope you will receive in good conditions. You have a treasure in your hands! The RazorGuy - StraightRazorChannel on Youtube and Google+
