Thanked: 96I saw a video of Mastro Livi making razors and felt there are some things that need that old time craftsmanship to be made the right way. Skill, passion and a love for what you do. I just won a 6/8 Mastro Livi on ebay and await with great excitement the first shave. This will be the razor handed down to my grand children with a note that says, handle with care, this was made by a true artist. Will post pictures when it arrives.

First of all, congratulations on your Mastro Livi 6/8. I would certainly appreciate seeing the pictures as soon as you can. I am sure your grand children will be very happy to receive such a valuable gift. I am sure they will understand both the shaving and artistic value.
It would also be great if you could post the pictures of your new razor in the club. I certainly wish you to come to Perugia and to personally meet Mastro Livi and by watching the making of your next razor: it is an unforgettable experience for sure! The RazorGuy - StraightRazorChannel on Youtube and Google+

Thanked: 96My son-in-law is Italian and said we should make the trip. The problem is his parents and grand mother also want to go. If there is good shopping near by my wife could be talked into the trip. We have really enjoyed are trips to Italy. To see a master work would really be a treat.
