    Thursday

No shave today, just a poem:

    Sometimes in the morning
When I see a little patch of rainbow colours in the sky
And the golden light on the huge red boulders
I want to stop my car by the road
And get out and fall to my knees and pray
    But I don’t.
    I just keep driving.

Shaved with the Wednesday blade of my MAB seven day set which I just received in the mail yesterday. It turned out to be a surprise from my father. He found the set and had the ivory plate made and monogramed for me. Certainly has a special place in my rotation and is quite the special piece to me. All are Ivory with lead spacers. Also cool that british soldiers and sailors were given these.

    Razor: The Mab

    Soap: CF Lavender

    Balm: CF Lavender

    Brush: WD 30mm

Another poem, sorry. The power was out last night so I sat there with candles and a dip pen and pretended to be a poet:

    Do you see things?
    You don't
I know you don't see things
    I said 'see'
I know you said 'see' too
But I mean a different 'see'
I mean a 'see' that makes you cry.

Interesting poem and thanks for backing up my thoughts on your "Winters"!

Our winters are cruel, harsh things. Sometimes, when it's really bad, one can get wet. Also, I saw a couple of trees that has fallen down the other day AND the lawn is very soggy! I'm not sure how we survive, really I don't!

Thank goodness things are so. You wouldn't be housebound to write such poems and share your pictures!

illsolvethat, Were you saying that the MAB set was a standard issue item for the British? If so, that is pretty high class.
