After a slim 3-shave diet of DE, cold water, 1805 without a brush and Neutrogena RD , I finally got back to civilization and....
-Warm water face wash
-C&E BB
-Williams Menthol & Vit. E cream
-The Winner
-Old Spice followed by Neutrogena
Finally a smooth shave with no weepers and much more enjoyment... Now the only things I´m missing are really HOT water for the lather and my better razors. Something to look forward to next week

Thanked: 9Ilija, this was a slim shave diet indeed! Glad to hear you're getting back on track
My SOTD:
I believe this is my first morning SR shave. Yesterday was working to 3+ am, needed some sleep, and starting shaving a/r 3 am did not seem appealing.
So I shaved this morning before driving my kids to school and going to work because I have a business lunch.
Hot shower
B&B Finest Ebony
5/8 Waterville Bijou wedge (rare)
6/8 Genco Pyramid full hollow spike (very plain 10/10 kick-ass shaver)
Vintage strop black bear / red imp linen
Moss scuttle
Trumper's Violet soap
Trumper's alum
Trumper's CSF
Gucci Pour Homme EDT
Good shave. As soon as I put the first razor to my face - nick ! For some reason, the first razor felt harsh and grabby after the coticule. Last shave I had 30+ CrO2 laps on it and it was much smoother. I guess skipping the oxide this time (an experiment) won't be happening again, if I have the option.
Otherwise I was careful and didn't inflict any other damage. No irritation at all, alum felt mild and refreshing. Took more time on first side and lather dried up but thankfully GFT Violet is a soap that doesn't irritate my skin so multiple latherings were not problematic.
Argh, no time for a SOTD photo this morning
Cheers
Ivo
