Good Morning Ladies & Gents,
I feel thoroughly out classed looking at all of the beautiful straights. I'm still waiting on mine to return from cleanup/restoration and honing.
Anyway's, here's my BBS-SOTD for today...
Razor: Re-plated Gillette Slim Adjustable
Blade: Gillette 7 O' Clock Super Platinum
Brush: Geoff Anderson - Silvertip Badger
Soap: Stirling Soaps - Lemongrass & Cajeput
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel with Aloe
Aftershave: Stirling Soaps - Lemon Chill
I have a very fast growing and heavy beard. I hadn't shaved since early on Christmas morning so there was quite a substantial growth to knock down. I started with the slim set on 3 for the first pass and then set to 5 for the following passes to get a BBS shave.
I hope that everyone has a great week!
Jonathan

2 pass shave with warm lather thanks to the scuttle.
Good shave but I think this blade needs professional loving. Not as smooth as the Boker against the skin despite my best efforts.
Cheers.
