My fiancée is visiting her sister this week, so I took the opportunity to break out the hones and get some practice with my newly acquired jnats... Honed up this Robert Williams that got a small nick in the edge (have no clue how...) as well as a couple others. Good shave overall, and nice to have at least scratched the surface of JNAT honing, so to speak
Razor: RW classic 7/8ths Spanish point
No strop, shaved straight off the stone
Brush: Edwin Jagger Best Badger
Cream: Xpec original
Bowl: handmade Japanese rice bowl
Result: smooth and comfortable shave.
To success in the coming week, gents.Last edited by RMarsh; 12-31-2013 at 07:01 AM.
