Keepin' it simple today. I didn't really need to shave this morning. Yesterday's shave was so smooth. But I know about 3 or 4 pm I'll need a touch up. Since I will be going to church this evening, I thought I'd nip that early.
Once I get really proficient with the SR, days like this that's what I'll use. But right now I get a closer shave with the DE because I've got my technique down with that. So that's what I chose. One pas WTG, one ATG, and a pass XTG over my chin, jawline, and under the neck. Nice.
When I get ready to walk out the door this evening, I'll add a bit of the Halston cologne I've got.
    Have a great shave, everyone!

SoTD 2014.03.26 - Das Straight Beats Le Pere

    Prep pre,
Le Pere Lucien, LE w/ Nightdivers brush,
    Timor Straight - 5/8,
Floid Blue, sul filo del rasio.

Recently picked up this tub of Le Pere Limited Edition soap - I believe it's called Mango something or other, but in all honesty, I didn't really notice a massive difference between it and the regular soap. I'll need to do a little side by side to see if I'm wrong or if there's just a bit of a signature scent in the Le Pere line that comes through. At any rate, it makes a nice, slick lather, which is great for a straight. The Timor is a decent little blade; pretty smooth running and comfortable. I need to hit the scales with black-light to see if they glow (my guess is they will). The rest was pretty grand. Be swell, folks.
