Thanked: 146Proraso|G5|AOS Badger|MWF|Lecoutre|ProrasoAS|Bliisk ASBMy first frameback. I picked this up at a flea market Saturday and it seemed pretty sharp, so I stropped and shaved with it Sunday...I was so impressed that it got double billing after a trip to the 12k Naniwa to refine the edge. Silky Stick Smooth in 3 passes. I haven't decided if I want to leave the patina or not on the blade, your thoughts gentlemen?

Thanked: 1185Definitely patina. I'd hit it with scrubbing bubbles, never dull and call it good. Had a shot at a similar looking frameback a couple years ago. The guy started out wanting $150 for it. I wasn't going to pay that much so obiviously it wasn't going any where at that price. For almost two years I'd make the guy an offer every time I went in the store. I finally dickered him down to $60 but I wanted $50. The next time I came back the razor was gone. I should have just give him $60 and took the damn thing home.

I chose patina when it came my choice.
I think it was the right way to go.
