Excellent shave. Pushed the boundaries a lot today. Two passes with the straight, WTG and around 30 degrees XTG. Two more passes, ATG, XTG under the jaw line and along the neck. This is where I get the most irritation, but also where I have the most trouble getting a close shave. Got fed up with that and decided to be very light with the DE, be meticulous, and make certain I did not pass the razor over bare skin. So, relather as necessary, no "buffing" with the razor.
Followed the shave with cold towels. A very smooth, irritation free shave. I doubt I'll make this many passes most days, but the "no pass over bare skin", and the cold towel post shave will become a regular part of my routine.Last edited by SRNewb; 04-04-2014 at 02:11 PM.
