Beautiful job hog! Thanks for sharing the process with us. I have been intrigued by a set of horn scales for a while, but just haven't worked up the courage yet. Acrylic is just so cheap and easy...LOL

This was my first shave with a rolls razor and it works very similar to a straight. Surprisingly smooth and effortless shave, 3 passes and I am BBS! When I received this it needed some love and after polishing the blade and going through a norton 4/8k, Naniwa 12k progression the blade popped hair and was super smooth. The only difficulty was the coupe de maitre other than that I think this one may be a keeper. It would be the only safety razor I own besides my grandfathers 1910 GEM, so it would be in good company.

I was thrilled to get one of these in (probable) mint condition. I was holding back from posting here after reading about the broken Ator...but since that turned out to be an April Fools, then..
