Cool Here is to you Mr. Haley

I purchased this razor a couple of years ago, an Ebay clunker that needed a lot of work. I took the scales off and cleaned them discovering that in one of the scales someone had scratched in Victorian script: Haley 27-Oct-1881. I was going to make scales for it; but decided against it, I preserved even the lead spacer. I cleaned up the blade giving it the full spectrum of greaseless compounds and put it together. This Thomas Turner took all the fuss off in two passes, and very silently as it is true of a wedge razor. For suds: Tabac soap and an Omega boar bristle brush; aftershock: Pinaud Clubman. Take care. HOG

This razor was fresh off the stone and the edge was outstanding. Removed the stubble effortlessly, great shave.
