Thanks Giving day SOTD for Jr and I
Strop: Straight Razor Design's 3" Bridal
Brush: Vulfix 21mm Pure Badger
SC: Straight Razor Design's Lavender
Razor: Fredrick Reynolds 8/8s honed by Lynn
AS: Old Spice
Excellent shave! Love the SRD products. I very rarely shave with a razor honed by someone other than Jr, CarrieM or myself so it was a real treat to shave with one of Lynn's edges! Thank you Lynn!“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Friday Nov 27
Prep: Hot towel + Proraso cream pre/post shave
Razors: I touched up the Boker and the DOVO in the Naniwa 10K so I tested both by shaving the left side of my face with them. Finished up the right side of my face, chin and around lips with the ERN Ator 6/8 round point. All three razors were stropped 25 times in webbed fabric and 25 red latigo. The Boker and DOVO were superb. Just a touch in the Naniwa did the job.
Brush: Omega silver tip badger, 26mm knot, bulbous loft.
Soap: MWF
Astringent: Thayers Lemon
AS: Musgo Real.
Results: BBS most of the face except front side of chin and underlip.

Thanked: 20Prep: Hot Shower
Brush: Rooney 1/2
Soap/Cream: MB/Proraso (running desperately short of the soap, hoping my Prairie Creations order takes off soon!)
Razor: Boker 6/8 (http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...tml#post486016)
Aftershave: Witch Hazel/Kiehl's Ultimate Aftershave
Razor just arrived, first shave with it. Man oh man is that sharp! A little harsh, as my lather was lacking a bit, but that first pass, with the prime lather, was something else. I don't think I've ever had anything take off a few days' growth that smoothly or easily.

Razor: Filarmonica #13 Doble Temple
Brush: Rudolph Vey Horn 2 Band
Soap: Arko
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel with Aloe
AS: Ogallala Bay Rum
Result: BBS. A very respectable Birthday shave from an old friend, the 13. Arko rocks, highly recommended, and cheap too. The Rudy Vey brush is so nice, what can I say, I was feeling horny. But the Ogallala is all gone, dammit!
