Glen, I forgot how much I loved that crazy lightning acrylic until you just went and posted it again. It really does look great. And the Filarmonica doesnt hurt.

One of my friends here on SRP alerted me to the mug on E-bay to match my avatar so I jumped on it and yes those older Filly's shave soooooo Sweet !!!!

The SRD Bulgarian Rose is extremely exquisite in my book. The scent is lovely and the EO used has really some incredible properties for the skin. My skin will thank Don & Lynn for many years to come
I had a wonderful shave. Couldn't get any better really.

Today I had the opportunity to meet another SRP forum member, and I had a great time. He brought along some belgian coticules; eschers; swatys, and various shaving related items. I have had my Dorko for quite some time and I planned on rescaling it, but I really wanted to try the coticules so I honed it anyway, and I'm glad I did. We shared information about mistakes we have made in honing;purchasing; stropping, and fixing razors, though I probably gained more information than him. If given the chance to meet up with another member, please take the opportunity to do so because you will not regret it. SRP is a pretty unique forum that we belong to, because every member I have purchased from or talked to has gone to great measures to guide me along and help me out. Just thought that I would share this with the SOTD members, and Croaker thanks for help'n a brutha out.

Max, this is a beautiful razor with exquisite scales. I have a razor that has scales that look identical to these. I have been told they are Bakelite. Do you know if this would be correct? Also, do you know what era they would come from? Also, do you know of a source for bolsters like the ones on your razor?Attachment 35234
