Speick Shave Stick
Pinaud Bay Rum + Noxzema for post-shave
I'm going to continue using the bay rum pre-shave idea for a few more shaves to see if I missed anything. I really didn't notice much difference this time. My face does feel great, though.

Weds-Jan 13 Shave
Prep>> Hot shower + Proraso Pre shave cream. Never leave home without it. Hot water rinse between passes finalizing with a cold water rinse after three passes. WAX.
Razor>>Boker Edelweisse 5/8 in bone scales. I tested the shapness of the blade and it left a clear runway in the underside of my arm. Yeap, its sharp!
Stropping>>SRD red latigo 30/30 before and after shave
Soap>>Tabac in ceramic tub. I will add some glycerin next time since it tends to dry somewhat before I end the shave.
Brush>>Mighty Omega boar bristle professional model.
Astringent>>Thayers Lemon
AS>>Proraso Splash
Cologne>>Glogenhasse 4711
Footnote>>A very nice BBS shave. SHAVE ON
Background music. Black Sabath-Children of the Grave. Ozzie rocks!!
Adult drink>>French bistro-Carvenet Souvignon. No gym tonight

Nope, it didn't smell that badly at all. It's one that my Dad got new years and years ago, and I hope to re plug it after it dies. I like the longer handle quite a bit.
I know that I have not hit it on anything since getting it last week, but am not sure if they were there or not when I bought it. I did not realize how thin those edges were! I ran my thumbnail behind the edge, and could see the sharp edge actually deflecting from the pressure!
If, when I finally get a hone, I can't get it out, I might take you up on the offer! Thanks!

Thanked: 431Hey Hog and tat2, uh, I'm not sure exactly how to say this, but, those brushes of yall's, they are a couple of little hotties, and I just wanted to let you all know that they were giving me this certain 'LOOK', if you know what I mean, I'm just saying if we were ever alone together I don't know if you should trust them, the way that they look at me I get the impression that they wouldn't be able to control themselves.
