Revisor
Max, that is one awsome razor! I have been stalking the Revisor site for a week now debating wether to take the plunge......I was looking at the black scaled shoulderless model with the old time bolsters...Looks like the Renaissance's alter ego..

Beautiful scene! I miss the jungles! I was raised as a Jungle light fighter, but had to shift to the desert with the war...Spent a lil time with the Malaysian's (doing some shooter training) when I retired. I was hoping to parlay that into a full time jungle gig, but they didn't have the funds lined up, so it fell through in the end and I had to get a steady job in Colorado....Sure miss the bush though....All way fascinating and challenging to be in. One word though (you probably already know)..Careful of the moisture sir! I have had a couple good razors go to the rust pile very quickly in the jungle.

Well, there are so many spectacular razors shown I thought I would put up my workhorse ..This is what happens when you live under a bush for 20 years with a lot of time on your hands...I don't even know what kind of wood it is. I made these scales out of boredom and saved them and varnished them to see how it would come out...Rough, but it is surprisingly comfortable..
Pre-Shave - AOS Oil
A/S - Ogalalla Sandlewood..Thanks for turning me on to that guys. It s affordable and feels and smells great!
Razor - An old "Cline" that I redid...Pitted and narly scales, but shaves great!
Brush - No-name that I picked up on a Germany trip.
Have a Great Day!

My shave was actually the wife's legs. Here is how it went:
1. Cleaned bath tub for her (she doesn't like to soak in soap scum).
2. Went to church.
3. Came home, put daughter to bed.
4. Wife took leisurely bath, put conditioner on legs and rinsed.
5. Went down stairs and she watched TV while I got shaving stuff ready.
6. Here is the equipment:
a. Dirty Bird 1.5 Scuttle
b. Col Conk Soap
c. Bjanzen custom brush
d. boker 5/8 razor
e. Lavender Witch Hazel.
f. Lots of Time.
Results: Smoothest my wife's legs have ever felt, thoroughly enjoyed the process, so did she. No cuts, nicks, or weepers, just a clean bbs shave on her legs.
Now for me to shave later today to get ready for our date tonight. I will post something later.
