    Thumbs down

    Setup for Saturday and Sunday:

    Wester Brothers "Anchor Brand" 5/8
    VDH soap
    "Barbershop" brush
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Corn Huskers
    Nivea PSB

Two passes WTG. Best two shaves that I have gotten yet from a straight. Honed this razor from dull with an Arkansas oil stone, and finished with a strop I made over the weekend. Maybe 150 Denim, 100 leather. I know I need to add another stone or two to get a more polished edge, but these last two have been pretty good, and very confidence inspiring to boot! I am working on another razor at the moment, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke...

    Jonathan,

You lucky dawg! Double the pleasure...Double the fun on Valentine's Day.

BTW...I love the engraving on the spine of your razor.
