In reality, I'm not much of a boar fan. I keep giving well regarded Boar brushes a chance, just to see. This one is the first one among them that will find it's way into my rotation. IMHO, it outperforms my former Omega brushes hands down.

Blizzard conditions today! In Red Bank, NJ

Razor: Barber's Pet #421 Simmons and Co.
    Brush: EDJ
    Soap: TGQ Oak and Moss
    Cream: TGQ Oak and Moss
    Bentley Scuttle
ASB: Anthony's Sport with Marshmallow extract + Kiehls for extra moisturizing in this dry weather.
    ASS: TSD Lime
EDT: Christian Dior Pour Homme perfume(not cologne) very strong smells awesome and wife loves it.

Shave went very well, except 2 small nicks, nothing majors, but I had stropped my razor about 100+ strokes til my arm was tired, and that gave the razor a crazy sharp edge/smooth, didn't realize how sharp. Did get a BBS as usual though. Fool's pass, Coup De Matre, etc...

    Default SOTD Friday 2/26/10

Shaving today for an interview and a date with my wife.

Prep: Hot shower while soaking brush and warming scuttle
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird 1.5
    Brush: Bjanzen custom
    Razor: Crown Razor 6/8
    Soap: Mitchel's Wool Fat
    Splash: Thayer's Witch Hazel Lavender
    balm: Nivea
    Strop: Tony Miller Practice Strop

Results: Great shave. I never like to put BBS because I like to comment on the whole shave experience, not the result of the shave .

Lip is now smooth all directions, even S to N. Chin is getting much better. Hopefully the interview will go well.
