BTW...How is that Simpsons Astor 90th Anniversary brush?
I been impressed with the Simpson Anniversary brush. The handle looks great and the brush has very soft tips but retains firmness in the bristles, thus combining for excellent results.

Sorry I'm posting old shaves right now. I have been away form the SOTD for almost a month. I have all my shaves, from the past month. I just don't want to post them all at once. Seems unfair? I only shave about once a week in the winter anyways. This past month has been busy. I have missed you all so much! I really felt like I've been missing out on something great, and, I know I'm right! I have been missing out on something great! This shave of the day, is totally awesome we have here!!! I said it once already, and I'm going to say it again, I really have missed you all!!! Take care everyone.
    John,

It's good to have you back...

BTW...The str8 razor in your SOTD photo is awesome.

Razor: Shavemac Custom Dovo 5/8 SS
    Soap: Tabac
Brush: PenChetta 24 mm custom silvertip
    Strop: SRD Premium IV Razor
    Thayers' Aloe WH
    Zirh AS
    L'oreal Moisturizer

Results: Pretty good shave. I'm really liking this "cold shave" method. I think the razor could have been better though. I usually finish with my coticule, but I thought I would try some Cr0 this time. It's really sharp, but I think my skin likes the coticule edge better.
