Semi-Speick Saturday (I always forget on Fridays) straight shaving morning. (Suffern' Succotash, how alliterative can I be?) Wonderful lather with the Speick and two good passes with the W&B, a heavy blade which demands respect and attention. It feels much different compared with the hollow ground razors that I typically use on the weekends, but that's not a bad thing. Great finish with the Musgo and the Acqua di Selva. Now for breakfast, coffee and a cigar. I love the weekends.

A first use of shaving oil today for me, what a revelation!

• PRE-SHAVE OIL: Glycerin oil.
• S/SOAP: Tabac.
• S/CREAM: C.O. Bigelow.
• GLYCERIN: 5 drops= Uber-lather.
• BRUSH: C-M Pewter Super Silver Tip.
• RAZOR: J.A. Henckels Friodur 72, 6/8 round point, full hollow. WTG, XTG, ATG passes.
• POST SHAVE TREATMENT: Hot towel, cwr, astringent, a/s balm, edt.
• ASTRINGENT: T.N. Dickenson's Witch hazel.

Sorry I'm posting old shaves right now. I have been away form the SOTD for almost a month. I have all my shaves, from the past month. I just don't want to post them all at once. Seems unfair? I only shave about once a week in the winter anyways. This past month has been busy. I have missed you all so much! I really felt like I've been missing out on something great, and, I know I'm right!
