Thanked: 13247A relaxing late night shave !!!
Early morning management meeting tomorrow, and I actually had no test shaves tonight, so I decided to kick back and relax with the Maestro,,, Livi that is...
6/8+ spike point, Rose Damascus blade, snuggled into some of my own Pearl acrylic scales... A vintage scuttle loaded up with Prairie Creations "Tahitian Amber" shave soap and a restored solid brass brush with a 22mm Silvertip knot...
2 pass muti-directional shave, and a lightly scented Thayer's Peach astringent splash to cap of a smooth relaxing shave...
Edit: I see Jimmy and I were thinking along the same lines

NOW would be a perfect time to pull out a LIVI seeing earlier
posts.... unable to do that at this time.... Here's a 6/8 Bismarck Registered 1930's Era Bismarck Razor Works Solingen, a "Silver Mounted" GBD Squat Bulldog w/ early 20th Century London hallmark, and Stainless Steel Seiko Chronograph which might suggest that it's TIME to get a LIVI !!!
Also..... Giving my Vulfix Grosvenor a day off... Pinch-hitting is the Somerset Era Simpson Chubby 2 in Best Badger.

Boy wat this one a bugger I've been itching for this blade style for a long time and I finaly got one. Not the best shape and took ALOT to get it up and going. Shave is smooth but felt sticky, not sure if i got carried away on polishing the edge or what..

Thanks LinacMan,
The Harley purrs like a cat, it has an 1504cc engine with enough torque to rip the a*** off an elephant...the Friodur on the other hand is a smooth shaver with a stainless steel blade that after eight months I have yet to hone; I just given it some laps in CrOx when it pulls a little.
