This blade is huge and sharp (thanks John!) and I love it . Had some difficulties with my problem areas, I´ve to get used to this big blade I think. But it turned out to be a very very nice shave. One nick though, when I relaxed some

I'm not particularily fond of Gold items, prefer Stainless Steel, Sterling, Rhodium, or Platinum. I never have taken a liking to ducks in general either.
(But this razor SINGS on the strop and zips my beard clean off!)

Geneva Cutlery 6/8
Semogue 830
VDH glycerin ss
Thayers Cucumber WH w/ aloe
Speick a/s
Anherb a/s gel
Acqua di Selva Edt
Two new acquisitions for today's shave, the Geneva Cutlery 6/8 (TY Earl) and the Semogue 830. I'm a fan of "local" blades (living not too far from Geneva, NY) and this one did not disappoint. The Semogue is a dense brush with great backbone and developed wonderful lather with the VDH soap. Agreat finish with the Acqua di Selva...all in all a great shave with all moderately priced components.
