You can have everything, and still not have enough.

Great shave with the FR Washington Wedge as always. I love this razor and it's the smoothest shaver I have. I'm not sure if it's smoothness influenced the performance of the Ogallala SS but, for the first time this morning since I started these observations I got the slight feel of cushion. The Williams (Tallow based), MWF (lanolin based) did not have the soft feel on the skin when the razor was moving across it. I wouldn't say the Ogallala (oil based) had a lot of slide or glide but, there was a distinct difference in the feel of the razor on the skin that I'm assuming is the elusive cushion. The comparisons that I'm doing have helped me to understand the mechanics of the different soaps (and later will be the creams) and how each are unique in their own way. Obviously these are my favorites because I have them in my rotation and I like them for their individual performance factors. Ogallala SS is a great fav of mine and has demonstrated the most cushion of all the soaps so far.
Have a great day today Gentlemen and enjoy your shaves!Last edited by Stroker; 07-23-2010 at 04:11 PM.
