Beard...what beard? That's my chest hair. It must be the water or something I ate . I would hate to see what I will look like tomorrow .

    Default How you look???

    Robert,

How do you look???? I'm more concerned that your co-workers are going to complain about how you smell - no cologne??? Hopefully you didn't forget the deodorant

Actually I skip shaving occasionally. It's actually a calculated decision. Although it's agonizing to skip a day, the building anticipation makes it all the better when it finally happens (hmm, seems like some other things in life work that way too)

    Post-Shave: Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food, Trumper's Moisturizer

Result: Unlike before, today I am sporting the "relaxed", unshaven look (see picture below) . I've decided to take the day off. But, Witch Hazel and Trumper's remain part of the daily routine

My SOTD for today is that I decided to give the face a break today...this is the look I am going for. How do I look?

    Hi Greg,
That's too funny...but, no worries. I smell gooooooooood (according to wife, of course ). No cologne...just Witch Hazel and Trumper's skin food. Shower was definitely in (after a good hike/run early AM)...no co-workers today. I actually made the mistake of going in to work one day (on a day off mind you ) for a meeting...I went in with my shorts and T-shirt...Man, it shocked my co-workers...everyone screamed at the sight of my hairy legs. One of the girls in the office ran to get her friends to come check it out...she came in saying: "look, he's got legs" . I thought they were going to call Homeland Security or something. It was hilarious...we ALL had a good laugh (at my expense).

I managed to pick up a razor like that. The etching is not as strong as yours though.

Great shave with the FR Washington Wedge as always. I love this razor and it's the smoothest shaver I have. I'm not sure if it's smoothness influenced the performance of the Ogallala SS but, for the first time this morning since I started these observations I got the slight feel of cushion. The Williams (Tallow based), MWF (lanolin based) did not have the soft feel on the skin when the razor was moving across it. I wouldn't say the Ogallala (oil based) had a lot of slide or glide but, there was a distinct difference in the feel of the razor on the skin that I'm assuming is the elusive cushion. The comparisons that I'm doing have helped me to understand the mechanics of the different soaps (and later will be the creams) and how each are unique in their own way. Obviously these are my favorites because I have them in my rotation and I like them for their individual performance factors. Ogallala SS is a great fav of mine and has demonstrated the most cushion of all the soaps so far.
Have a great day today Gentlemen and enjoy your shaves!
