Monday shave
Cold water rinse to cool off the face on this hot sunny day.
Didn't let the brush soak again today and better lather than letting it soak.
Strop: 3" black latigo 50 canvas 110 leather
Razor: Thiers Issard 6/8 c135 singing razor
Brushmega 05
Soap: DR Harris lavender
Aftershave: Nivea balm
Cold water rinse and 25 canvas/50 leather strop and then ballistol oil and put away.
I nicknamed this razor "The King" awhile back because it was my best shaver. But after a month of the grelot it's safe to say the king has been dethroned.Shaving_story on Instagram

An outstanding shave, felt like was shaving with a Bowie knive, a very sharp and buttery smooth Bowie knife. Time for some Maker's Mark 46 to celebrate the new razor and her maiden shave (by me).

I am unsure if this thread is open for anyone to post on, but I had the best shave ive ever had today, and I happened to take a picture of it as well. anyways, here goes.
Prep: Hot shower and a hot towel on my face
Brush: My handmade handled 24mm silvertip badger brush
Razor: George Wostenholm and Son Pipe Razor
Soap: Soaptopia's Rosewood Scented
Cream: The Art of Shaving Lavender Scented
Scuttle: Robert Becker Large Scuttle (received it today from my sister for my birthday)
Post: Neutrogena Aftershave Lotion
Result: One of a few BBS shaves I have achieved in my 5 months shaving with a straight razor, and absolutely no irritation. My best ever.
