Thumbs up Week of July 26 SOTD - Tuesday

    Almost same setup as yesterday

Pre-Shave: Stephan's Smooth Conditioning Shaving Creme
Razor: 6/8" Full Hollow C.V. Heljestrand "Royal Kindal", Round Point
    Brush: 22mm Vulfix Super Badger
Überlather: CarrieM Dragon's Blood creme + TOBS violet soap + squirt of glycerin
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food, Trumper's Moisturizer
ASB: Trufitt & Hill Grafton 1805
Result: This morning, I wanted to stick to using my newly honed (by yours truly ) Heljestrand Royal Kindal and my Vulfix super badger brush. I really must say that I enjoy my überlather. The combination of CarrieM creme with soap/glycerin provides a fantastic slip, moist, and thick cushion that is off the charts...not to mention, allows any blade to easily glide and cut any whiskers (including thick ones). As before, the Kindal's performance was nothing short of royal...very comfortable, BBS smooth shave with just 3 passes.
