The edge is a bit rough because I am a beginner in honing, but I enjoy the coticule a lot,... Every time I use it, I learn to improve the honing a little because the feeling of the stone, I hope my honing skills will be better for the next razor.

I use the dilucot, a progressive honing system with coticule and slurry, thanks Mr. Bart , your lessons are an excellent resource for the coticule users

    Pre: Hot Shower/Sandalwood Soap/Conditioner
    Strop: Kanayama (40/60)
    Razor: Dubl Duck SatinWedge
Lather: BentonClay Lavendar + Bomb Saigon + 5 drops Glycerin
    Scuttle: Dirtybird
    Brush: Vulfix Silvertip Fan
    ASB: Saigon
    EdT: Nicolai New York

A simple picture, but I got a smooth shave with a fun little wedge. It was only my second shave since Sham put a killer edge on it. I think I'm liking this Duck (even with her ugly clothes)...

How often do you shave? It seems like it's every 12 hrs or so or twice a day. You must have quite a growth .

Nice setup though ...Loving that Grelot. Isn't the Coti nice? I should use mine more often.

I shave every morning, but yesterday I can't upload the pic until the evening,...sorry, sometimes it happens

The coti is perfect for me, with one stone I can keep my razors sharp. But I am still learning, I know good masters, as Bart, Ralfy,....and Esteban the spanish dealer of Ardennes Coticule, they have teached me very well about the coticule.

I can get a sharpedge easily, but I am trying to improve the sharpness and the smoothnes of the edge.
