Pre-Shave: Hot shower + Stephan's Smooth Conditioning Shaving Creme Razor: 7/8" vintage Friodur #17 Stainless Inox, Spike Point Brush: 23mm Savemac Silvertip Überlather: AOS Lavender shave creme + Mama Bear Almond soap + squirt of glycerin Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel Post-Shave: Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food Facial Moisturizer: Dr. Hauschka's quince creme Cologne: Penhaligon Blenheim Bouquet Result: In the spirit of Max' OP, I decided to use my Friodur #17, which was purchased from Greg (aka, olafurson - Thank you Greg). After honing/polishing this puppy, the shave I received was ultra smooth. This blade delivered on its promise and left nothing to disappointment.

I feel like a hobo.
No shave since Friday and won't get a chance until tomorrow morning.
After five straight days of a nice relaxing shave it is not a nice day when you face the world full of stubble.

A post dentist visit shave...after a couple of hot washcloth applications, a very nice shave with the Wosty and the Tabac...she handles very well and gives me confidence in those areas that give me the most difficulty...a fine finish with the Floris.
