    Monday, 8.23.10

Another gloomy and rainy late summer day...

    Cool water splash
    Ingram SC
    Vulfix 660 Badger
    Weyersberg Corneta 6/8
    SRD Premium 1 strop .. 50 Linen/100 Leather
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Aqua Velva Musk AS

SOTD shots from my gun club, Peconic River which was the old Woolworth-Donahue Estate on Eastern Long Island. There are a number of tales of intrigue and infidelity and a few secrtet passageways between bedrooms in the main lodge... If those old walls could talk!

From the Tap Room, overlooking the lake... Really a widening of the Peconic River..

A couple of Photos from "The Elephant Room," in the main lodge, where "Wooly" Donahue's trophies are prominently displayed...

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Pic from our backyard (on a little hill in connection to our garden). This frameback is _sharp_ and I knew that and was very careful and did two passes. HHT is very easy, the hair cuts before you even start to draw it over the edge . Clean, but could have done a touchup to get closer.
    Nice SOTD!
