My SOTD pic for today was to showcase the farm country out here. I wasn't able to decide which shot to use, so I'll give you a two-for-one today!

Both of these shots are of my neighbor's farm.

Razor: BJ Eyre Triumph with scales by Muirtach
    Soap: DR Harris Marlborough
AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue (which I hate, but it makes for nicer pictures. )
    Brush: Made-Rite

Yessir, though I don't know if it will ever dry out enough to bale. It seems like non-stop rain here lately.

Ahhh, beautiful sunset over a freshly cut hayfield; it doesn't get any better than that!

Is that CT, Ray's shop (Thirdeye on B&B)? I seemed to recall he had a shop like that but not sure what it was called

    Wednesday:
Yesterday I bought some items by MUEHLE and took a look at the manufactoring of brushes.
Today the items will be in using.
Special thanks to the CEO's, Christian and Andreas Mueller, they gave me a lot of information.

    Today I used:
    Soap: Thiers Issard
    brush: Muehle
    razor: Wade & Butcher
    AS: Old Spice

    Have a nice day, gents!

    Pre: Hot shower
    Razor: Shavemac by Dovo
Brush: Ikon 24 mm chubby silvertip
    AS: Ols Spice Musk
Strop: Neil Miller linnen/buffallo 30/50 Pre: ROMA 45
    Result:

Pic´s four minutes walk from our house, a nice lake where the kids can swim during hot days (now passed, I think). Nannys soap lasted for 4 1/2 passes (two on head and 2 1/2 on face), I´d loaded the brush for approx. 30 secs . For the head I used some Gillette blades for the first time, I got them in a package at some time and they´re the best blades ever - stubble on head melted away and now it´s Kojak time.

Same where my parents are. 40 years of farming, and this is the first year they weren't able to put even one seed in the ground.
