Well, your gear looks _very_ nice and your new and secret stuff keeps us all on an edge here. My guess - a W&B chooper

You two are getting pretty close to the SOTD gear tomorrow...close, but no cigar.

    SOTS Wednesday August 24, 2010

Razor: 11/16 Loeffler & Sykes, Full Hollow, Spike Point
Rochester, New York, Made in Germany
    Pre-Shave: Proraso Crema Pre Barba
Shaving Cream: TOBS St. James Collection
    Lather Bowl: Ceramic
    Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
    Brush: Col conk Barbershop Badger
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave/Cologne: British Sterling Cologne for Men

    Results: BBS, close and comfortable!

Honed up the Loeffler & Sykes on the 4K/8K Nortons and finished on the C12K. Stropped on the SRD Premium 1; 50 on the webbing and 75 on the Leather and got a wicked edge! This was a great shaving razor and I am very happy with this find. (and I said 30 was going to be IT, now I'm up to 31, do I go to 40? Please stop me! lol)
I will try to do some photo editing later to include a scenery shot from the area where I live but I'm running later this morning.

Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil
    LaToja Sensitive Shave Cream
    Simpson's Ehsan X2L
    Bowdin's Wedge 5/8ths
    SRD Premium 1 strop ... 40 linen/80 Leather... and I'm in heaven..
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Mennen Skin Bracer Cool Spice

The weather is continuing to be uncooperative, but we press on!

Today's SOTD is taken at nearby Grumman Park.
The actors for the day are backdropped by a Grumman F-14... perehaps the greatest Navy Fighter/Interceptor the world has ever known! The Grumman plant, now closed, where this F-14 and the pictured A-4 were test flown and produced is only a couple of miles from here. My late Father-in Law worked at the Grumman plant in Calverton for many years.
It used to be quite a sight, while hunting birds on a local farmer's fields, to be looking up the twin tailpipes of an F-14, so close it seemed one could almost touch it, while the pilot lined up on the runway to land, or do a touch and go.
These old warriors, while getting a bit long in the tooth are still pretty impressive to this boy..

Man...this SOTD really resonates with me Bill . I have always had a thing for planes. That A-4 is an amazing winged animal. And the F-14...well, nuf said

    Thanks for the great imagery

    SOTD...
Amazing picture and thank you for sharing. I take great pride in knowing that this amazing machine was built (figuratively) in my backyard and literally in yours.

An F-4 took my Step-father's arm off on the Forrestal 3 days before she burned...your picture just reminded me of his stories. Gentlemen, your SOTDs get me sooo ready to get back to the states and begin using my new gear! I can't wait to join the ranks. I just hope my humble abode can produce such excellent results...slainte
